About Susan Hewitt

Susan Hewitt has 20 years of experience in human resource development, marketing, and business communications. Managing her own private counseling and coaching practice in addition to working collaboratively with a number of nationally renowned leadership and coaching organizations, Susan focuses on leadership training, strategic planning, and team building and works with organizations to conduct needs assessments to determine the best way to achieve corporate goals. In addition, she trains, consults and coaches individuals and groups about career transitions, change, stress and time management, as well as negotiating skills, customer service and presentation skills.

She is the former Director of Human Resources Marketing and Communications at First Union National Bank, planning and implementing employee communications for 60,000 employees in 13 states. During the course of her career, she has worked in both for-profit and non-profit settings, contributing expertise in maximizing effective communications for increased personal and organizational effectiveness.
